Emergency Preparedness

Public Safety Canada recommends that all families have a 72 hour emergency preparedness kit on hand in case of an emergency.

Are you prepared in case of an emergency or disaster?

Resilient Rurals

Resilient Rurals began as a partnership between the towns of Bruderheim, Gibbons and Lamont for a regional climate change adaptation and resilience project within Alberta's Industrial Heartland. It's a new approach—created by small towns, for small towns.

Join us to define shared risks and opportunities, and to work together to serve as a model for rural resilience. We welcome any community interested to join us on this journey. We have much to share and learn!

Check out their Resource Hub for more information relating to emergency preparedness.
